Joseph "Joe" A. Battaglia Jr.

Joseph A. Battaglia Jr., age 65 of Minnetonka, passed away at home May 15, 2025.

Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Dee Battaglia; brother, Jeff Battaglia and nephew, Andrew Beddor.

Survived by siblings, Gail (Jim) O’Rourke, Bruce (Bonnie) Battaglia, Diane (Mike) Beddor, Michael (Carla) Battaglia and Steven (Patti) Battaglia; Aunt, Mary Battaglia; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins, countless friends and special friend, Molly.

Joe was born and raised in St. Louis Park and graduated from Benilde-St. Margaret's. He was a proud Teamster. He spent much of his career working for Teamsters local 120 as a Business Agent and Recording Secretary. He loved to fish, play golf and talk/argue politics. He was a passionate fan of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and attended many of their concerts. Joe was also known to place the “occasional” wager on a football game. We will miss his sense of humor and his love for all of us.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 27,2025 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, 155 County Road 24, Medina.

Visitation at church one hour prior to Mass.

Private interment Lakewood Cemetery.
