Joseph Edward Schoo (age 82) died July 23, 2026.

Joe was born on August 2, 1943, in Iona, MN to Henry and Theresa Wyker Schoo.

He married Kay Ferris on April 27, 1968. Joe was an electrical contractor in Waterloo, IA and in Minneapolis, MN.

He is survived by wife Kay Schoo, three sons David (Mary) Ferris, St. Louis Park, MN, Steven Ferris, Las Vegas, NV, Michael (Amy) Schoo, Chaska, MN, three grandchildren, Joseph (Laura) Ferris, Stevie Luyando, and Oliver Schoo, great-grandson, Aiden Luyando, great-granddaughter, Ruby Luyando and many nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by parents John Henry & Theresa Schoo, brothers Jack, Phillip, Leon, Jim, and Ronnie Schoo, and sisters Adelaide Meyer, Donna Deegan, Mildred Russell, Rodella Fahle, YaVonne Redmon, and Gladys Reisdorfer and their husbands and wives.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am Wednesday, August 5th, at The Church of the Sacred Heart, 41st and Hubbard. Visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery.
