Julie A. Harty

Julie A. Harty, age 75 of Robbinsdale, passed away August 10, 2023.

Survived by husband, Mike; daughter, Brinna (Cory) Boese; sons, Patrick (Torunn) Harty & Robert (Heather) Harty; grandchildren, Elora, Joseph, Michael, Claire, Addison, Annaliese, Olivia, & Noah; brothers; James (Sue) Mance & Robert (Patricia) Mance; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents Frank and Alice Mance.

Julie taught 2nd grade for 23 years at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Robbinsdale, and prior at St. Raphael School in Crystal.  She was active in Twin Cities Cursillo, volunteer coordinator for Dinner at Your Door and loved gardening.  She will be remembered for her yearly summer delivery of Monarch butterflies as she taught her 2nd graders about life’s transitions.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, August 21 at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 4087 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale.

Visitation Sunday, August 20, 3-5 PM at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale and Monday after 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart.

Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Maple Grove.

Memorials preferred to Sacred Heart School.
