Age 77 passed away May 20, 2024. Preceded in death by parents Eugene and Ruth Wang, brother Robert. Survived by husband of 53 years Roger, sister Mary Drazek and brother David Wang, many nieces and nephews. 

Karen was in the first graduating class of Cooper High 1965. She attended Concordia College of Moorhead  graduating in 1969 with a double major in Art and History. Karen had a very successful career at Sears working her way up from part-time display in Mankato, to National Marketing Manager at the Sears tower. She also had positions with Basset Walker and Target corp.

Special thanks to Catherine Krecke and the rest of the Brighton Hospice Care. A private Service will be held, memorials to Our Lady of Peace Hospice, St. Paul, MN., memo Karen Hansen. Karen will be interred at Fort Snelling. She will be missed by so many.  “My Way,” by Frank Sinatra can be heard playing in the background.
