Karen Sue Steahl

Karen Sue (Kelley) Steahl went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 29, 2023 as a result of heart failure.

Karen Sue Kelley was born to Arnold & Leola Kelley on September 4, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND.  They moved to Thief River Falls, MN.  Karen attended school in TRF and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965.

Karen married Donald Steahl on May 29, 1970 in Minneapolis, MN.  Don & Karen have 2 children, Annette Elizabeth (Steahl) Jackson & Daniel James Steahl.

Karen is survived by her husband, Don, children Annette (David) Jackson, Dan Steahl, sister Darlene Kelley, brother Hal (Jan) Kelley, sister-in-law, Tricia Kelley, beloved grandchildren Corrina Jackson (Peyton Adams), Brandon Jackson and many nieces and nephews.  Also survived by an Aunt & Uncle and many cousins, nieces & nephews.  Many friends of Karen's grandchildren considered her their honorary grandma.  Many, many children were touched by the love of Karen.

A memorial service will be held at Vision of Glory church in Plymouth, MN on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 11am with refreshments following the service.
