Kathleen (Kathie) M. Swadner

Kathie was born September 11, 1937 to parents Marguerite and Tilden Koll. She passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ray Swadner, her brother, David Koll and her son, David Swadner. She is survived by her daughter, Becky Roy and her sister Nancy Jarrard, as well as too many friends to count. Kathie graduated from Villa Maria Academy and the College of St. Catherine. She had a degree in Occupational Therapy and worked at St. Mary's Hospital for many years. Later in life she worked at Hoglund's Flowers for about 18 years. She was very active at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Robbinsdale and served hundreds of funeral lunches there over the years. Everyone who ever met Kathie loved her. She was a gentle soul who loved animals and stayed in touch with her longtime friends from the Villa and Saturday Nighters.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Robbinsdale, 4087 W Broadway Avenue, on Friday (5/22), 12 noon with visitation one hour before the service. Burial at Ft. Snelling.
