Kay M. Sitts

Sitts, Kay M., age 74 of Brooklyn Center, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on January 1, 2023. She was born on November 1, 1948, in Minneapolis. Preceded in death by her son, David R. Sitts. Survived by her husband, Richard Sitts; daughter, Pamela Sitts; sister, Carol Schmechel; brother, Donald Bluhm; and grandsons, William and Wyatt Sitts.

Kay loved helping at her daughter’s dance studio and enjoyed meeting and greeting the students and their parents. She looked forward to the visits with her grandsons, talking to them and watching them grow up. She especially enjoyed wintering in Las Vegas, going to shows, and the casinos, and just visiting with friends.

Memorials will be donated to the Children’s Hospital (childrensmn.org).

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 14th at Gearty-Delmore Chapel 3888 West Broadway, Robbinsdale. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Fort Snelling at later date.
