Kevin L. Weinrich

Kevin Lynn Weinrich, age 51, passed away on February 15, 2017.

Kevin was born on January 11, 1966 in Fergus Falls Minnesota to Gordon and Sharon Weinrich.  He grew up in his family’s home outside of Fergus Falls with his 3 sisters, Tamara, Deanna, Lynette and brother Darcy. Kevin attended and graduated from Fergus Falls Senior High in 1984.

Kevin joined the U.S. Army in the fall of 1984.  He was stationed for most of the time in Heilbronn, Germany serving as a Field Radio Repairman.  While stationed in Germany, he enjoyed exploring Europe and most memorable was his travel adventures with sister Deanna.

Kevin enjoyed working with electronics and furthered his education by attending Fergus Falls Community College and North Dakota State University.  In 1994, he graduated from NDSU with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Kevin worked a wide variety of contract engineering jobs across the Twin Cities.

Kevin married Linnae Longtin on July 10th, 1999 at Hedemarken Lutheran Church outside of Fergus Falls.  They made their home in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Kevin and Linnae have two sons, Devin and Louis.  Kevin enjoyed his life as a dad. Kevin and his boys loved to bike the trails, watch NASCAR races, build electronics, chase trains, grow wax beans in the garden and learned to cook together.

Kevin will always be remembered as a quiet and caring man.

Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment following at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
