Lauren Renee Kaszas

Lauren Renee Kaszas, age 28, of St. Paul, passed away on June 28, 2022.

A celebration of Lauren’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, July 28th at House of Hope Presbyterian Church, 797 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, Minn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lauren’s name can be directed to the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley, MN (www.animalhumanesociety.org) or to Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge (www.mntc.org) .

Growing up Lauren loved music, dance, basketball, softball, and running. She graduated from Osseo HS in 2011. During high school she discovered a passion for hair and makeup. Lauren graduated from the Minnesota School of Cosmetology in 2012. She worked at various salons and briefly lived in Hawaii and Arizona. As a stylist, she perfected the art of hair color and balayage and was sought after by many of her friends for makeovers.

Lauren was kind and caring to all. She enjoyed helping others feel special. She displayed both innocence and wisdom beyond her years regarding life’s journey.

Lauren had a free and wandering spirit which took her on spontaneous adventures near and far. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of the outdoors, appreciated all types of cuisine, and enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen. She loved animals of all kinds. One of her favorite activities was going to the park with her dachshund, Lincoln and beagle, Charlotte.

Lauren’s smile could light up any room. Her radiance will be missed by all who loved her.

Lauren is survived by her loving parents, Carol Whiteaker and Cameron (Kara) Kaszas; brother, Jordan Kaszas; sister, Adelyn Kaszas; grandmother, Ramona Kaszas; aunt, Glenda (Mark) Lintula; uncle, Kevin Kaszas; several cousins and canine companions, Charlotte and Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Hilda Whiteaker, and Ivan Kaszas.
