Lawrence M. Johnson

age 92 of Saint Louis Park, passed away on February 3, 2023. Larry served in the Navy during the Korean War. He loved trains; he could tell you anything about them and enjoyed ‘riding’ them on YouTube.  He was also an avid ham radio enthusiast. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Johnson; his son, Curtis Johnson. He is survived by his son, Edward Johnson; stepchildren, Mark (Janet) Okey, Laurie (Jeff) Reed, Karen (John) Hein and Steven Okey; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Leila Jeffers; brother, Roger (Jo) Johnson; nieces and a nephew.

A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Youth on the Air; a program for and by young radio operators in the Americas.
