Lillian Darlene Ylitalo (Halonen) passed away peacefully at the age of 86. Lillian was born August 14, 1939 in Valley City, North Dakota to Charles and Tyyne Halonen. She was united in marriage to Paul Ylitalo on September 3, 1960. They were blessed with 14 children.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; daughter, Shari, sons, Ronald and Bradley; daughter-in-law, Kim Ylitalo; sons-in-law, David Lasanen and Karl Oja; grandchildren, Lisa Ylitalo and Steven Lasanen; her parents, stepmother; siblings and their spouses.
Left to survive her are her children, Dan (Katie), Thomas (Chrystine), Brian, Linda Pietila (Keith), Mark (Barb), Bruce (Lynn), Kathy Oja, Rachel Ylitalo (daughter-in-law), Karen Linna (Jim), Kris Kangas (Kevin), Aaron (Mindy), Jason (Katie); 91 grandchildren, 108 great grandchildren; brothers, Ray (Betty) Halonen and Don (Florence) Halonen; many extended family and friends.
Visitation: Friday (March 13) 4-8 PM at First Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2300 Cox Trail, Long Lake.
Funeral: Saturday (March 14) 11 AM at First Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2300 Cox Trail, Long Lake with visitation beginning at 10
Interment: Friday (March 20) 3:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Garden, Crystal, MN
