June 9, 1946 – August 10, 2025

Linda Rose Bimberg, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday morning. Born on June 9, 1946, in Malone, NY, to Eugene and Margaret Taylor, Linda grew up with a strong sense of family, kindness, and perseverance. She graduated from Franklin Academy High School in 1964 and, later that year, married the love of her life, Marvin Walter Bimberg, on December 12, 1964.

Linda devoted her early years to raising their two children, Todd and Tracie, pouring her heart into creating a loving home filled with warmth and laughter. Once her children were in school, she began working at Todd’s Tree Service, later serving as Personnel Director at Hillcrest Nursing Home for many years. She was Property Manager for Benson Orth and went on to Office Manager at Lund, Kohler & Cox, and ultimately retired from Crystal Farms in 2004. Retirement allowed her to dedicate cherished time to caring for her mother, Margaret, during her journey with Alzheimer’s.

A woman of many talents and endless creativity, Linda found joy in quilting, cooking, knitting, gardening, reading and collecting seashells on the beach with her grandchildren. She was an active member of Glory of Christ Lutheran Church in Plymouth, MN, where she shared her gifts in the Compassion Circle group and quilting club. Linda’s love for family shone brightly in the photo albums she lovingly created—each grandchild receiving a special one chronicling memories of their time together. Linda loved hosting large family gatherings over holidays or special occasions. Whether relaxing with an episode of NCIS, watching HGTV, or getting lost in a good mystery novel, Linda embraced life’s simple pleasures with grace and gratitude.

Linda had a lifelong love for animals, especially the many dogs and cats she cared for over the years. She found great joy in spending time with her beloved pets and treasured the visits from her 'grand pups' and even her great-grand pup.

In retirement, Linda embraced her love of travel alongside her beloved husband. Together, they explored the beauty of Florida’s beaches, the rugged landscapes of Alaska, the deserts of Arizona, the coastline of California, the vibrant sights of Nevada, and all the states in between. These journeys brought her immense joy and created lasting memories filled with adventure, laughter, and love.

Linda is proceeded in death by her parents, Eugene and Margaret Taylor, her brother, Charles Seymour, her sister Carolyn Hirsch, and her brother, Robert Taylor.

Linda’s greatest pride was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Marvin; her son Todd (Karen) Bimberg and their children Sarah, Matthew, and Jamie; her daughter Tracie (Ron) Schultz and their children Dylan and Chloe; her brother Michael (Judy) Taylor; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

A funeral service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Glory of Christ Lutheran Church, 4040 County Rd. 101, Plymouth, MN, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Following the service, a luncheon will be held where memories will be shared. Interment will follow at Groveland Cemetery in Wayzata.

Donations to the family will be shared with The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and The Animal Humane Society—two causes close to Linda’s heart.

Linda’s life was a tapestry of love, generosity, and faith. She leaves behind a legacy not only in the family she cherished but in the countless lives she touched with her compassion and joy.
