Listen to Obituary

Linda Louise Daggett, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025. She was born on March 17, 1945, in Windom, Minnesota, to Emanuel and Irene Larson.

Known to many as Lynn, she graduated from Mounds-Midway Nursing School in St. Paul with a degree in nursing. She dedicated over 30 years of compassionate service as a Registered Nurse at Methodist Hospital, where her gentle spirit and unwavering care touched countless lives.

Lynn was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her daily life. She took great pride in her Danish heritage, embracing its traditions and values. A lifelong Minnesota Twins fan, Lynn rarely missed a game, cheering passionately for her team through every season. She found joy in life's simple pleasures-spending time with family and friends, and especially doting on her three beloved grandchildren, whom she lovingly called her "dollies." Family was the cornerstone of Lynn's life, and she cherished every moment spent with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emanuel and Irene Larson, and her sister, Judith Hisken.

Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Ronald Daggett; her children, Eric (Kris) Daggett and Nate (Sarah) Daggett; and her treasured grandchildren, Madison, Luke, and Jack. She is also survived by her sister, Sandy Eveland; brothers-in-law Jim (Carol) Daggett, Steve (Sue) Daggett, and John (Bea) Daggett; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Lynn's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A private graveside service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. A memorial service will follow on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., at The Highlands Church, 680 Woodland Road, Delano, MN 55328.
