Linda T. Egan Memorial Service

Linda Theresa Egan was born on January 18, 1956, in Minneapolis and passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on August 24, 2023.

Survived by husband, Robert; children, Patrick (Mindy), Andrea (Haas) Hamad, Michael (Stephanie); grandchildren, Conor, Torin, Amira and Farah; siblings, Anita (Alois) Bauer, Thomas (Donna) Weiss, John (Sue) Weiss; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, Ludwig and Rita Weiss.

Linda was an incredibly devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.She loved finding beauty in the world, especially in flowers and walking around her favorite lakes such as Lake Harriet, which is near her beloved childhood home. Linda was selfless, empathetic and kind. She never missed a dance competition or sporting event and dedicated most of her life making sure everyone around her was taken care of.

Linda enjoyed travelling, which she did extensively both in her career with Northwest/Delta Airlines and personally with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her dozens of visits to Pösing, Germany, where her sister lives and her parents returned to after raising their family in Minneapolis.

Linda’s love and light will continue to live on in the legacy of her beloved family.

Memorial Service 3 PM Wed., 9/13/23, with visitation one hour before, at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. Following the service, friends and family are invited to join Linda’s family at the Medina Entertainment Center, 500 Hwy. 55, Medina, for food, fellowship and celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
