age 98, of Plymouth, MN, passed away peacefully April 4, 2026. She was preceded in death by husband, John; parents, Gabriel and Elsie Boedigheimer; brother, Michael Boedigheimer; daughter-in-law, Shannon Kilkenny; and many dear lifelong friends and family.
She is survived by sister, Michele Boedigheimer; children, Peter (Emily), Mark (Diane), Linda, Chris (Julia), Marguerite (Michael) O'Neill, Bridget (Victoria) Gaeleigh, Maureen (Shawn) Mason, and Molly (Mike) Keogh; as well as 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Marilyn was a long-term resident of Plymouth, where she built a life centered on family, friendship, and simple joys. She was an avid gardener, a devoted reader, and rarely missed a crossword puzzle. The cabin on Rice Lake was a cherished gathering place, filled with laughter and lasting memories shared with family and friends.
The last five years of Marilyn's life were spent at Parks' Place in Plymouth. Her family is deeply grateful for the kind and compassionate care she received.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 105 Forestview Ln N, Plymouth, MN 55441, on Wednesday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to the donor's choice.
