Lorraine Boehm

Lorraine M. Boehm passed away peacefully with family members on October 6, 2025 at home in Maple Grove, MN.

She was born on September 15, 1928 in Mosinee, WI. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Lucia (Hilber) Stachura. She graduated from Mosinee High School in May 1946. She was then employed by Employers Mutual of Wausau, now Liberty Mutual. She married Armin J. Boehm, the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Bauer) Boehm on August 23, 1947 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mosinee, WI. They were married 71 ½ vears until Armin's death on January 24. 2019.

After her marriage she became a homemaker and raised a family of seven children. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, knitting and gardening. Summer vacation was a time to visit places of interest or a week at a cottage in northern Wisconsin. After the children were in school she returned to work at Employers Insurance until her retirement. Armin and Lorraine then traveled to most of the fifty states visiting relatives and National Parks.

Following Armin's death, Lorraine moved to Minnesota to live with her daughter. She enjoyed cooking, baking, watching football, reading and doing puzzles. On Thursday nights she hosted dinners for her children and had a chance to visit with them which she thoroughly enjoyed. She continued that tradition until her death.

Lorraine is survived by her children: Sandra, Beverly, Donald, Richard, Barbara and Brian; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Gary, a newborn Bruce, five brothers, five sisters and and most of their spouses.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on November 29, 2025 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Halder, WI. Father Don Bosco Amburose will officiate. A visitation hour will precede the mass at 10 am. Lunch will be served in the church dining hall following the burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
