Lowell E. Peterson

Lowell E. Peterson, of Plymouth, born April 20, 1926 in Keokuk, IA, passed away February 12, 2017 at age 90.

He is preceded in death by wife Gloria.

Lowell is survived by sons, David (Nancy), Paul, Ken (Wendy), Steve (Lonnie) and daughter Debbie (Rob); 23 grandchildren, Eric, Bethany, Tina, David, Karen, Chris, Amanda, Sarah, Stephanie, Tim, Kelsey, Brittany, Whitney, Alex, Zach, Grant, Tyler, Claire, Jordon, Andrew, Melissa, Scott, and Hannah; 18 great-grandchildren, Darian, Hailey, Jaiden, Audrina, David, Cara, Kaelyn, Alexis, Bella, Brayden, Jorden, Cameron, Dacia, Sebastian, Hope, Chloe, Mason and Sam.

Lowell earned a PHD in Chemistry from the U of MN and worked at General Mills Chemical Div. which was later acquired by Henkel. He took special pride in the lake home he built shortly before retirement. In his retirement he enjoyed teaching Sunday school and carpentry.

Visitation after 10 AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
