Lyle Dale Peterson

Lyle Dale Peterson, formerly of Robbinsdale died 4/7/2022 at the age of 93.

He was raised in Minneapolis and graduated from Central High school and the U of M.  He married Gwen on March 22, 1951 and began serving in the Korean War later that same year.  He was a career MNDOT employee where he served as a Principal Engineer working on many highway projects throughout his nearly 40 years on the job.  His hobbies were many including bicycling, bowling, painting, drawing, and was an avid walleye fisherman.

Survived by son, Tim Peterson, daughter, Terri (David) Fugh, son-in-law, Blaine Barnhart; grandchildren: Chris (Sabrina) Fugh, Corin, and Lyndsey Barnhart.

Preceded in death by parents, brothers, wife, Gwen Peterson, and daughter, Tracy Barnhart.

Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
