age 81 of Plymouth, MN, passed away on January 29, 2024. Makonnen was the former General Secretary of the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce. Survived by loving family, Lali Galan, Fraol Galan, Jote Taddese, Moti Jote, Jara Jote and Biya Jote. Preceded in death by loved ones, Galan Yadessa, Hadha Makonnen and Yeshimebet Gametchu. Funeral Service to be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Estes-Leadley Funeral Home, 325 West Washtenaw Street, in Lansing, Michigan.
