Marguerite (Phillips, Inglert) Watkins, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 13, 2025, in her home in Greenfield, Minnesota. Marguerite was born April 18, 1934, in Richmond, Indiana to the late Warren and Elizabeth Phillips.

She was a 1952 graduate of Richmond High School in Indiana. She worked at Reid Memorial Hospital before her long career at Perfect Circle/ Dana. She was a longtime member of First English Lutheran Church in Richmond and later, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Crossville, Tennessee. She sang in the choir, served on altar guild, and participated in Bible studies and Deborah’s Circle. Marguerite enjoyed her volunteer work with The Susan G. Komen Organization in Ohio and in Texas, The Beautification Committee, and The Palace Theater in Crossville. Wayne and Marguerite enjoyed traveling the world and seeing each location through unique and memorable experiences. Her favorite trips were to visit her grandchildren. She was incredibly present in each of their lives. She never met a stranger and treated her friends as family. She will be remembered for her strong faith, her kindness to others, and her devotion to family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bob Phillips and great-grandson, Christian. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Wayne Watkins, children Winni (Grant) Gaydorus, Jay (Tammy) Watkins and Sharon (Inglert) Baudler (David), nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1461 Sparta Highway, Crossville, TN.
