Marion Grosscup (Zaczkowski), 104, of Saint Louis Park, died peacefully November 29, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Melrose, MN, she graduated high school in 1936 before moving to the Twin Cities. She was a studio photographer at the Golden Rule and enjoyed creating portraits of the young men going off to war. She was an actress in St Paul’s playhouse circles where she met her future husband Thomas, and together they raised seven children. She had an incredibly warm, nurturing and inviting spirit, always interested in great conversation and the lives of her family and others. Marion lived independently until she was 101. We are full of gratitude for our mother's long life, strong faith and full devotion to her family.

Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Thomas A. Grosscup Sr, parents, Joseph and Mary (Kilian) Zaczkowski, and nine siblings. Survived by children Thomas Jr (Wendie Brock), Jeffrey (Karin), Timothy (Luann), Mary (Carol Gravseth), Martha Moselle (Mark), Michael (Sammy Chounlamountry), Anna Gallob (Brian), 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Deep appreciation to the caregivers of LifeSpark Hospice for their support and compassion in her final months.
