Marjorie L Subialka

Marje died peacefully on November 7, 2015, surrounded by her family. She grew up in Robbinsdale, graduating from Robbinsdale High in 1945. Marge loved gardening, growing both vegetables and flowers. She had a knack for making friends and connecting with people and kept up an extensive network of family and friends. She delighted in gatherings no matter how simple; they were all opportunities for notes, cards and parties. A lifelong avid reader, gardener and arts and crafter, she conveyed this love to others. She was a skilled knitter and crocheter, a member of many craft and sewing circles and donated much of her work to benefit St. Austin's Catholic Church. She had a deep faith, a sharp mind and was a loving and generous soul. Marge will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Raymond R. Subialka; sister Virginia Fink Schmidt; brother Norman; parents Andrew and Helen (Wachtler) Fink. Survived by her children, Jeanne, Paul, Joseph (Carol Mates), Carol (TomVetter), James Subialka (Darlene), Helen, Andrew, Mary (Jeff Perry); grandchildren, Kelly Hauptman (Sean), Michael Subialka, Teresa Subialka, Dane Frigstad, John Subialka, Anna Subialka, Julia Karvel, Alexander and Miles Perry; great-grandchildren Lauren and Andrew Hauptman; many nieces and nephews.
