Mark Allan Brust, 56, of Crystal passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026. He was born to William and Sondra Brust on August 8, 1969 in Minneapolis. Mark went to Pilgrim Lutheran School, where he met many of his lifelong friends, through 8th grade. He then transferred to Rosevelt High School. He graduated from Rosevelt in 1987. After graduation, he went on to the University of Minnesota where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in English. Mark worked at Snyder's for many years and had such good memories of his time there. He then started working at National City Bank, where he met his love, Angela. Mark and Angela were married on April 17, 1999. In 1998, Mark took a position at Best Buy Corporate. He met so many wonderful people and made many more memories during the 23 years he worked there. On March 16, 2001, Marie made Mark a dad! Then, on September 18, 2006, Elizabeth made him a girl dad times 2! Mark was the most amazing dad. He loved his girls more than anything. Mark really enjoyed getting together with and playing D&D and Dead Island with his friends. He was very into video games and passed that on to his girls. His very favorite was Final Fantasy. He started playing Final Fantasy 10 with Marie when she was a toddler and that continued through the years. He loved to watch Elizabeth play Little Big Planet and the Wii. As a family, we would play board games, travel to many places but most often to Duluth, and watch movies and shows together. Just last year, Mark discovered the card game Magic. He had so much fun playing and collecting Final Fantasy Magic cards.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Ben O'Fallon; his grandparents; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark is survived by his wife, Angela; daughters, Marie and Elizabeth; Dad, Bill; Mom, Sondra; Sister, Becky; brother in law, Pat O'Fallon; Brother, Kirk; sister in law, Maria Olsen; his nieces and nephews, Madelynn (Sam) Hass, Leah (Matt Bradt) O'Fallon, Tony (Megan) Cottrell, Amanda (Jeremy) Schaefer, Kendra Johns, James Bowen-Dinsmore and Drew (Elaine) Cienfuegos; great nephews and nieces, Michael, Lauren, Joe, Judah, Luke, Flynn, Adelaide; dog, Buddy Bob, he was Mark's constant protector and companion; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and so many friends that love him.
