Mark Daniel Jorgens

Mark Daniel Jorgens, age 65, of Golden Valley, passed away on July 19, 2026. Born on April 14, 1961, in Minneapolis, he was the son of Joanne L. Renquist and Stanton M. Jorgens.

Education & Career

Mark graduated from Golden Valley High School, where he formed many friendships that endured throughout his life. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Minnesota and later received his MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

He built a successful career as a real estate investor, working in Minneapolis and spending meaningful years in Arizona, where he enjoyed hiking and golf.

A Life on the Course

Golf was one of Mark's greatest joys. Windsong Farm Golf Club became a second home to him - a place where he formed deep friendships and shared countless memorable days. His steady kindness, warm presence, and easy smile will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew him there.

Family

Mark was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jennifer Lund Jorgens, whose memory remained close to him throughout his life.

He is survived by:

• Stanton M. Jorgens, father

• Joanne L. Renquist, mother

• Steven M. Jorgens, brother

• Denise M. Jorgens, sister

• James M. Jorgens, nephew

• Extended family and many friends - including lifelong classmates from Golden Valley High School - who felt like family
