Merle "Sam" Kratoska
Merle “Sam” Kratoska, age 98, of Mpls., died November 20, 2017.
A mother of five boys, Sam lived a life of purpose and joy. Her smile was infectious, her welcome warm, and her energy for planting wildflowers was astonishing. As a master gardener at the Arboretum, she created beauty wherever she found a bit of earth to dig. Above all, she loved God and did her best to serve others. She blessed us with her life; she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by sons Jim (Carole), Tom (Teri), John, Bill (Lynne), and Paul (Teresa); 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bob.
Sharing at 7pm.
Visitation one hour prior to Mass AT CHURCH. Entombment at Gethsemane Cemetery.
