Milton R. Ost

Milton Robert Ost was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He went to be with the Lord on the evening of May 19, 2022, at age 79.

Milton was born to Robert and Gladys Bond on March 4, 1943, in Los Angeles, CA.  He was raised on a farm in Parkers Prairie, MN, by his mother and adopted father Elmer Ost.  Graduated from Parkers Prairie High School.  Served four years in the US Navy.  Graduated from Dunwoody College electrical program.  Married Katherine Zehner of Leaf Valley, MN, in 1966.  Became a Master electrician and owner of Metro Electric Construction Company.

Milton and Katherine raised three children: Robert, Tamara and Dallas.  Milton’s most cherished times were spent with his family.  Together they loved boating, motorcycling and spending time at the family farmstead.  He loved his family and loved the Lord.  His favorite verse was John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Annysa and great grand baby Grace (Robert’s daughter and granddaughter).

He is survived by wife Katherine Ost; son Robert (Lisa) Ost and granddaughters Kalea and April; daughter Tamara (Brad) McDonald and grandson Sean and granddaughter Shelby; son Dallas (Joni) Ost and grandson Curtis (Maria) Scott; and many brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 23 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 5005 Northwest Blvd, Plymouth, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
