Nancy L. Jacobs

Nancy is survived by beloved husband, Duane; loving children, Daniel, Jacqueline Gibney (Rusty Kocon); son-in-law, Phil Lamers (Marles); cherished grandchildren, Natalie, Andrea, Joel, Lucas, Marcus Jacobs, Christopher (Caitlyn) and Steven Lamers, Tommy, Grace and Matthew Gibney; 2 sisters and 1 brother; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, Willard and Myrtle Tomashek; daughter, Annette Lamers; 2 brothers.

Nancy was born on December 25, 1942 in Eau Claire, WI to Willard and Myrtle (Justman) Tomashek. She was raised in Eau Claire and graduated from Regis High School.

A pioneer in woman-owned business, Nancy founded Retail Merchandising Services in 1985, growing it to 1,400 employees today. Retail Merchandising Services provides merchandising services for retail companies in all 50 states.

Nancy had many talents. She was an avid golfer, a phenomenal cook and an accomplished instrument-rated pilot.

Family and faith were her foremost pride and joy. Always putting family first, Nancy was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. As a leader in her church, Nancy’s faith was very important to her; she started numerous Bible studies and led many prayer services.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 29 at 11 AM with visitation one hour before, at the Church of St. Mary of the Lake, 105 N. Forestview Lane, Plymouth.

Visitation also Wednesday, December 28 from 4 - 7 PM with Rosary at 7 PM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N.

Celebration of Nancy's Life from 3-5 PM on Thursday, December 29 at Bald Man Brewing, 2020 Silver Bell Road, Eagan.

Private interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Maple Grove.
