Otto Dischinger Age 86, of Plymouth, MN, passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2026.
He was born on February 27,1940 to Otto Sr. and Ruth Dischinger. Otto was a long-term resident of Plymouth, where he built a life centered on family, friendship, and simple joys. He loved playing cards, fishing, his motorcycle and the Cadillac. He liked to tinker in the garage and came up with an invention to tend to every need.
Otto was a Machinist / Tool & Die / Mold Maker by trade. He was proud of the dies that he made for things that people would be familiar with like Tonka Toys, Licorice extruding molds, and Hot Wheels cars.
He was able to live in his home as he wished rather than anywhere else.
He was preceded in death by mother Ruth Dischinger, father Otto Dischinger, Wife Claire Dischinger brothers Bob, Lloyd, Damian and Bill Dischinger. Survived by sisters Betty Butts, Dorothy Butts, brother Mike Dischinger, sister's-in-law Pearl Dischinger, Bonnie Dischinger, Stepson David Spragg, several loving nieces and nephews, neighbors and breakfast buddy's George and Ken.
Respecting Otto's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. He will be remembered and his life celebrated at a graveside interment and blessing on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, 10:30am at Gethsemane Cemetery, 8151 N 42nd Ave, New Hope, MN.
