Delmore, Patrick Allen
Age 76 of Minnetonka, MN, passed away suddenly on April 20, 2026, Lake Plantagenet, Bemidji, MN.
He was born on January 3,1950, to Delores (nee Julson) and Daniel A. Delmore in Eau Claire, WI. He was raised first in Eau Claire and then Hopkins, MN. He graduated from Hopkins High School in 1968 and then attended Minneapolis College of Art and Design, graduating in 1973.
Pat married Mary (nee Lindstrom) on April 20,1974, and they raised their family in Minnetonka.
In 1974, he began a long and loved career in graphic design, creative services, and communications at Medtronic Inc, retiring in 2005. In retirement, he spent his time taking care of all his family, working in his shop, and enjoying the woods and lake at the cabin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delores and Daniel A. Delmore; his sisters, Danalle and Rita Irrgang; brother, Baby Boy; and niece, Kristin Lindstrom.
Pat is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary, his children, and grandchildren; daughter, Mae (Joshua) Tunks (Lillian, Zinnia, Poppy, and Oscar); son, Daniel C. Delmore (Madeline, Patrick, and Richard) and fiancée, Rachel Amereihn. Brother-in-law, Richard Irrgang and nieces, Melissa Irrgang (Miles and Avery), Rose Irrgang (Nolan and Walter) and grandniece, Isabelle Kaplan. His siblings, Anne (Roger “Buck”) Lindquist, Mary (John) Swerdfiger, and Michael (Rebecca) Delmore. As well as many loved in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends. He loved and took care of all of us.
Visitation will be Monday, May 4, 2026, from 5 to 7pm, at Gearty-Delmore Park Funeral Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave S, St. Louis Park, MN
Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, 11am, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 13505 Excelsior Blvd, Minnetonka, MN. Visitation one hour before Mass, 10am. Services will be live streamed HERE.
Interment and graveside blessing will be Thursday, May 7, 2026, 10am, at Roat Memorial Cemetery, 50740 Woodcamp Drive, Bemidji, MN.
