age 101 of St. Louis Park. Paul was born 2/7/1924 in Minneapolis. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the U.S. Air Force Reserves during the Korean War. He graduated from Dunwoody Institute and worked with 2-way radio communications for many aspects of public service.
Paul was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, always full of laughter and new adventures. Always the sportsman, he loved hunting for pheasants and fishing … the elusive sunfish his favorite. His creative and artistic talents were enjoyed by so many.
Preceded in death by wife, Virginia (Jean). Survived by daughters, Pamela Habeger and husband, Robert, Paula Caspers and husband, Thomas, Karen Bell and husband, Mark; son, Kurt; grandchildren, Ryan (Katie), Nathan (Justine), Erick, Jared (Britta), Reed, Paige (Jaime), August, Grey; great grandchildren, Charlie, Aiden, Eleanor, Emmett, Theodore, Adalyn and Clara; many special friends at Havenwood of Maple Grove.
Graveside service with honors, 11 AM Friday, February 20 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Avenue South, Minneapolis. Please meet at assembly area #4 at 10:45. (see attached map below) In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Methodist Hospital Hospice.
