Paul L. Schroeder

Paul L. Schroeder, a lifetime resident of St. Paul, Minnesota, died September 17, 2026 at the age of 97. 

Paul was the last of his generation on both sides of his family. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Elizabeth; brothers, James and Richard; friend and longtime companion, Gordon Vogt. 

Survived by nephews, John, William, and Paul; 9 grandnieces and nephews, and 4 great-grandnieces and nephews. 

Paul graduated from the University of Minnesota and went on to have a distinguished career in social work for Ramsey County. 

Service will be held 10 am, Saturday, October 17th, at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Mark, 519 Oak Grove St, Minneapolis. Reception to follow at La Grolla Restaurant in St Paul.
