Pauline Laniado (Pulju), age 67, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026. She loved playing flute and piano, riding motorcycles, and was the silliest Oma in the world. Pauline’s roots in Hamel ran deep and she was a fixture at the Our Own Fortin Hardware store for many years. She was also an avid baseball fan. Pauline loved the Hamel Hawks, attended all four games of the 1991 World Series, and helped coach her children’s softball and baseball teams over numerous seasons. Pauline was selfless and kind to all.
She was preceded in death by her mother Beverly Nelson (Fortin), father Eugene Pulju, and granddaughter Carolyne Jensen. Pauline is survived by siblings Terry Pulju and Jackie Nord (Brian and Lucky Dog); children Kristy Barzee (Zach), Melissa Jacobsen (Christos Jensen), and Adam Jacobsen; grandchildren Jack and Austin Barzee and Ellis and Isabella Jensen; ex-husbands and good friends to the end Roberto Laniado, Keith Jacobsen, and Jim Olson.
