Richard "Rick" Earl Boynton (78)

of Maple Grove MN, passed away peacefully at home on February 24, 2026. Rick was born July 19, 1947. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and was in the Army National Guard. He retired from Toll Insurance Agency.

Rick is survived by his wife Joni; daughter, Kimberly (Thor): grandchildren, Taylor, Reagan, Wesley, and special pet Chloe; brothers, Kevin (Deborah) and John (Jeanette); sister, Katie (Tom); sister in law, Janice; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents, Donald and Rosalie; brother, Gregory; sister, Elizabeth and son Jeffrey.

A funeral service honoring Rick will take place Sunday, May 17th at Plymouth Covenant Church 4300 Vicksburg Lane N, Plymouth MN, 55446. Funeral Service 2pm, Visitation one hour prior.

Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
