Richard J. Cisewski "Dick", age 86 of New Hope. Dick was born and raised in Winona, Minnesota with his parents, Harry and Cecelia and his 3 sisters. He graduated from Cotter High School in 1949 then served in the US Navy. Dick graduated from the US Naval Academy and married Theresa Patzner in 1955. He had a long and distinguished career in the US Marine Corps (Semper Fi) and retired in 1977 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
After retiring from the US Marine Corps, he went on to have a successful career at Honeywell as an engineer. Dick was a man of unwavering principles and commitment to his Catholic faith. He enjoyed sports, riding his bicycle, playing handball, and cold beer.
Preceded in death by his parents; Theresa, his wife of 56 years; grandsons, Michael, Zachary and Nick; granddaughter, Jennifer. Survived by children, Diane (Harry) Alexander, Patty (Ron) Blanchette, Mary (Dan) Koch, Ruth (Jeff Schrempp) Peterson, John (Debbie) Cisewski, Tom Cisewski, Paul (Tracy Proctor) Cisewski and Peter (Nicole) Cisewski; grandchildren, Matthew Alexander, Melissa (Garrett) Bahr, Chris (Courtney) Blanchette, Keri (Dave) Graden, Kimmy Blanchette, Sarah, Christine, Katie and Emily Koch, Andy (Laura) Peterson, Erin Peterson, Rachel Cisewski, Joshua (Anna) Cisewski, Michael, Jordan, Rebecca, Jeremy, Jacob and Caleb Cisewski, Paige and Ben Cisewski, Leo and Liz Cisewski; great-grandchildren, Luca, Callie, Caitlin, Connor, Finley, Rudy, Scout, Ayla and Taylor; sisters, Barbara (Fritz) Bury, Mardell (Don) Smith, Mary (Chuck) Schneider and many other loving relatives and friends.
