Richard John Harkwell
Survived by wife of 59 years, Elizabeth; children, Cynthia (Curtis) Clark of Breckenridge, MN and LasCruces, NM, Mary (Steve) Prosser of Excelsior, MN, and Richard (Anne) Jr. of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Lt. Benjamin (Lili) and John Clark, Angelica (DeMarquis) Tcherneshoff, Annalisa Clark, Samuel, Rebeccah, Madeline, and Rachel Prosser, Matthew and Katherine Harkwell; step-grandchildren, Shawn and Michele Clark; first great grandchild on the way; and brother, Duane (Jan) Harkwell.
Richard was a veteran of the US Marines and the MN National Guard. He worked as an insurance agent for Allstate for over 30 years.
Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to St. Raphael’s Mr J. Scholarship Fund or the NEAR Food Shelf.
