Ricky Dean Burton

Ricky "Rick" Dean Burton (72) of Brooklyn Park, MN, passed away peacefully at his home on February 24, 2026. Rick commanded the room with his humor and enthusiasm. He enjoyed playing board games (especially cribbage), poetry, spending time with his family, and connecting with people. His vision of the afterlife was a place where he could reclaim his health and play frisbee.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents Doris and Milton Burton, and sisters Carol and Ali.

He's survived by his wife Rebecca, children - Brandy (Kris) Bradley, Bethany (Luke) Price, Brittany (Mitch) Ogaard, grandchildren Avi, Nico, and Ruby, brother Robert Burton and sister Sarah (Rich) West, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services for Rick will be held on Monday, March 2nd at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, Visitation at 10am, Service at 11am. Luncheon to follow. Private Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
