Rita Mae Neault

age 97 of New Hope, passed away on May 6, 2025.

Rita was born June 23, 1927, in Lake Wales, Florida to Jacob and Clara (Jordan) Adams. The family later moved to Hamel, Minnesota.

Rita attended the University of Minnesota where she graduated with a registered nursing degree. Despite the many things she did throughout her life, she was always proudest of her time as a nurse.

While working at the former Minneapolis General Hospital she met and married Roger Neault. They resided in Minneapolis, Frankfurt, Germany and Bessemer, Michigan before finally settling in Rochester, Minnesota where they raised a family.

Rita was a giving person, ready to help others when she could. She actively participated in many community and charitable activities in both Rochester and in her final home in the Minneapolis area. She will be remembered by those who knew her for her kindness.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; son, Andrew; parents, Jacob and Clara; and siblings, Marianne Evenson, Agnes Bezenar, James Adams and John Adams.

Rita is survived by sons, Thomas (Stacy) Neault and Patrick Neault; grandson, Eric Neault; brother William Adams; and the many nieces and nephews who were so special to her.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 27th at Church of St. Anne, 200 Hamel Rd, Hamel 55340. Interment with her husband and son at Hillcrest Cemetery, Bessemer, MI.
