Robert “Bob” E. Boldt, downtown Minneapolis resident since 1976, died Monday, February 11.
Born, November 2, 1928 in Faribault, Minnesota; only child of Ernest & Myrtle (Temple) Boldt; BFA degree from MCAD; U.S. Army sergeant; 38 years Dayton’s & Target graphic designer/art director; organist; bowtie & music lover; magician; creative, generous, faithful member Central Lutheran; downtown personality; beloved by seven first cousins.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Rochester and was the weekend organist.
Bob was a very kind man, talented in so many ways. He was a wonderful example in life.
