Robert W. Delmore

Robert W. Delmore, age 95 of Robbinsdale, passed away peacefully on February 12th.

Bob was preceded in death by wife Margaret and son Paul.

He is survived by children Kathy (Bob) Iverson, Dan (Mary) Delmore & Sheila (John) Thelemann; grandchildren Eric Iverson, Michael (Christine) Iverson, Sarah (Sean) Bates, Rob Thelemann, Gina (Jeff) Rautenberg, Taylor and Connor Thelemann, Hugh and Clare Delmore; great grandchildren Leah, Luke, Ella & Sadie; brother-in-law John Roddy and his family.

Bob was raised in Minneapolis, attended Incarnation School, De La Salle High School and the U of M. He was a funeral director in Minneapolis for over 60 years and the long-time owner of Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapels. A man of strong faith, conviction and character; cheerful in nature with an ever-present sense of humor. He was one of his generation’s great Irish story tellers.
