Robert "Bob" A. Roos

Bob, a ge 86 peacefully passed with wife Joan and family at his side on September 3, 2016. Loved by all devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Preceded in death by parents, sister and twin brothers.

Survived by beloved Joan, wife of 65 years, daughter Dawn (Phil), son Stephen (Kathy), 6 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bob served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked and cared deeply for "the least of these" as a Hennepin County Social Worker for 32 years. He was an avid gardener, woodworker, K of C member and church usher. Bob was perhaps best known for his deep love of people, he was perpetually kind to all and his very greeting with a hug and a kiss expressed happiness from his head to his toes. He will be dearly missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 1 pm at the Church of St. Austin, 4050 Upton Ave N (41st and Thomas Ave N), Minneapolis, MN.

Visitation begins at 11:30 am AT CHURCH.

Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
