Robert Duane Thurler

Robert Duane Thurler passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022 at his home in Brooklyn Park.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  Robert was born on February 8, 1936 in Portage, Wisconsin, son of Otto and Marie (Grunke) Thurler.  Robert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Virginia (Ginnie) Thurler, sons, Gregory (Suzanne), Thomas, Steven ( Louise), grandson, Joshua, nieces, nephews and many friends.  Preceded in death by parents, brother Frederick Thurler and sister Doris Kettleson.   A Celebration of Life with Mass, 10:30 AM. Friday March 25th at the church of St. Vincent De Paul, 9100 93rd Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN. Visitation at church at 9:30 AM. Friday with lunch following the Mass. Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope.
