Roger Duane Larson, 68, of Jordan, formerly of Minnetonka and S. Mpls, went to be with the Lord at 3:45 am Saturday, January 15, 2022.
Roger attended both Incarnation School and DeLaSalle High School. He loved to read and discuss his readings with his mother and others; his favorite authors included Dean Koontz and Ann Rule. He also loved to read about history, especially WWI and WWII books.
Music was also a favorite of Roger’s—60’s and 70’s rock and roll (favorite band being Humble Pie, followed by the Beatles and Journey). He enjoyed playing drums while growing up.
Roger had a good, dry sense of humor that was appreciated by all who knew him. A very caring person, Roger was a cat lover and was fond of dogs, too.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma L. Larson (Hansen); father, Marvin L. Larson; brother, David L. Larson.
Roger is survived by sister, Susan J. Larson; brother, Kevin J. Larson; nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 20 at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37 th Ave N (@ Vicksburg Lane), with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Plymouth.
