In Loving Memory of
Ronald John Barrett Sr. (“Papa”)
April 8, 2946 - November 4, 2026
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Papa at the age of 80.
Papa was a devoted husband of 60 years to his beloved wife, Pam, a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a cherished “friend of Bill W. for 48 years”. He was a true family man and the heart of our family.
He was an avid fisherman, loyal Vikings and Twins fan and found his greatest joy in spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his compassionate heart, the extra time he always took to listen and show he cared, his heartfelt voicemails and early morning happy birthday duets with Pam. After 60 years of marriage, they harmonized beautifully together, both in song and in life.
Papa passed away surrounded by the love of his family, just as he had surrounded us with his love throughout his life.
We are forever grateful for 80 years of memories, laughter, stories, and love. Though our hearts are broken, his legacy will live on through the family he cherished, the friendships he built, the lives he touched, and the love and values he instilled in all of us. He will forever remain in our hearts.
Ron is proceed in death by daughter Tammy and survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Pam; his sons, Ronjon (Julie) and Jeremy (Andrea); his daughter, Tanna; and his granddaughters, Abby, Sierra, and Ivy. He is also survived by his sister, Diane (Jerry); brothers, Bill (Carol), Dick (Debbie), and Terry (Mary); and countless nieces and nephews.
Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
Rest peacefully, Papa. ❤️
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a card sharing your favorite memory of Papa Barrett, “The Man, The Myth, The Legend.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and memories shared.
Love, The Barrett Family
