Ron Wittman, age 80, of St. Louis Park, MN passed away on August 14th, 2025, surrounded by family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Wittman; his daughters, Erin (Michael) Orthun, and Ann Marie (Zach) Hazelmyer; his cherished grandchildren, Moe and Conrad Hazelmyer; and his three younger sisters, Nancy Wittman, Sue Wittman, and Kathy Wittman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ron was born on October 9th, 1944, in Marshfield, WI to Vila (nee Kommer) and George Wittman. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1963 where he was a proud student athlete. He played basketball, football and ran track and cross country.

Ron lived a full life with family, laughter, and hobbies that brought him joy. A lifelong Green Bay Packer fan, Ron also enjoyed bowling and was a proud member of the first dart league in Minneapolis, the Twin Cities Dart Association. He loved the outdoors, spending many days hunting and fishing.

Ron will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his humor and his gift for connection. He had the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, often leaving them laughing with his sharp wit. His presence brought warmth, laughter and stories to all that knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Saturday September 13th at 10 am at Gearty Delmore Funeral Home in St. Louis Park, 3960 Wooddale Avenue South, followed by a Memorial Service at 11am. Luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider a donation to the Animal Humane Society in honor of Ron’s love for his dogs.
