Rosalie Garrett, 77, Rogers, Minnesota, died Friday, August 21, 2026, at St. Therese of Oxbow Lake in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
Rosalie was born April 29, 1949, in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of Antonio and Grace Martlaro. She was a graduate of Pueblo South High School and later earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Colorado.
Rosalie married Terry E. Garrett on February 20, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple made their home in Pueblo, Colorado, before moving to Harrisonville, Missouri, in 2000. Rosalie remained in Harrisonville until after Terry’s death in 2018, when she moved to Rogers, Minnesota.
Rosalie enjoyed baseball and was a loyal fan of the Colorado Rockies. She was also known for her Italian wedding cookies, which she made especially well and which became a favorite among family members.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, Terry E. Garrett; her son, Jason Garrett; her parents, Antonio and Grace Martlaro; and her brother, Anthony Martlaro.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Garrett (Dana), Rogers, Minnesota; her stepdaughter, Aimee Usrey, Wesley, Arkansas; her sister, Susan McKay (John); grandchildren Alyx (Jason), Jack, Alyssa, Chace and Gavin; great-granddaughter Lynnleigh, and many extended family members.
A private burial will take place at Drakes Creek Cemetery in Wesley, Arkansas.
