Ross G. Nelson, of Wayzata, passed away suddenly, but peacefully surrounded by his family on October 12, 2017.
Survived by his loving wife, Lucy; children, Abby Nelson & Marina Healy; mother, Diane Nelson & Judd Broyer; brother, Robert Nelson & Sue Roos; sister, Debbie Haskins; mother-in-law, Diane Robinson; father-in-law, Tom Hunt and John Wheelihan; brother-in-law, Lang Hunt & Kerry Hunt; Evan & Avia Slack, who were dear to his heart; godparents, Ray & Jeannie Nelson; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Bob Nelson; grandparents, Signe & Russell Nelson, Lorraine & Ken Ballinger.
Ross graduated from The Blake School and Gustavus Adolphus College, and had a successful 22 year career as a senior project manager in commercial construction. Above all, he was a devoted husband and loving father and son. An exceptional golfer, hockey player, and all-around athlete, Ross was loved and respected by all. His infectious laughter, quick wit, and huge, loving heart will be missed by all.
