Sarah Clare Grendahl 1972 - 2024

Sarah Clare Grendahl was born to Dennis Theodore Grendahl and Mary Kathleen Gorman Grendahl on September 24, 1972 and passed away on December 23, 2024.

Survived by siblings James (Amarilis Varona Lombida) Grendahl , John (Suzanne) Grendahl, Thomas (Anne) Grendahl and Laura Grendahl; nieces Kayla and Erinn Grendahl; nephews Michael, Jake and Jack Grendahl and many loving family and friends.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Mary Kathleen Gorman Grendahl, Uncles John Gorman and Lawrence Gorman, Aunt Ann Gorman Thelen and dear friend Teasha Reid.

Sarah graduated from Saint Bartholomew Elementary School, Benilde - St. Margaret's High School, and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

She spent her career in real estate, initially at The Park Apartments, and later as a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Burnet Minneapolis Lakes Office.

Deeply passionate about art, Sarah had an art studio in Minneapolis where she painted and hosted phenomenal parties with family and friends. She loved to dance, boat, celebrate every holiday - planning food and decorations long in advance, and spend time with her family and friends. Sarah will be remembered for her creativity, lust for life, warrior spirit, charm and laughter.

Gone too soon, Sarah will be deeply missed.

Mass of Christian Burial 12 Noon, Thursday January 2, 2025 at The Basilica of St. Mary, 88 N. 17th St., Mpls. Visitation at the Basilica one hour prior to Mass, and luncheon to follow. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope, MN
