Scott Allen Stahlecker, age 57, of Elk River, MN, passed away on November 23, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Scott is survived by his brother, Mike (Missy) Stahlecker; sister in law, Deb Stahlecker; nephews, Jake (Lexi) Stahlecker and Kyle Stahlecker; nieces, Katie (Travis) Gill and Caley Stahlecker; great-nephews, Colt and Jack; and great-nieces, Raelynn and Amelia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Jan Stahlecker, and his brother, Randy Stahlecker.
Scott’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Known for his love of dogs, especially Basset Hounds, Scott found joy in the companionship of his furry friends. He was a regular at local dog parks, where he not only celebrated his love of animals but also formed lifelong friendships with fellow dog enthusiasts.
Diagnosed with cancer over a decade ago, Scott faced his battle with incredible strength, courage, and grace. Despite the challenges, he remained a beacon of light and positivity, inspiring everyone around him with his resilience and unshakable spirit.
The family would like to express their deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to Brighton Hospice and Beehive Homes of Elk River. The kindness, care, and compassion shown by Scott’s care team made an immeasurable difference in his final journey. Their unwavering dedication ensured he was comfortable and surrounded by unconditional love and embrace, allowing him to enjoy life’s little moments and create precious memories with those he loved. Their support will never be forgotten.
Scott’s presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and loyalty will continue to bring comfort to all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 2 at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave N, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery, Hopkins.
