Shaleen Ann Slavin age 62, passed away on June 8th, 2025, after a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born in Minneapolis on February 6th, 1963. Her first home was in Edina. She next moved to St. Louis Park with her family and attended Most Holy Trinity School, and Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School. After High School she attended Minnesota School of Business. She worked at American Hardware Insurance Company for several years. Shaleen enjoyed listening to stories, delighting in the moments that made each person unique. She found joy in sharing a good laugh, adored babies and little ones, and cherished the companionship of her beloved dogs. Her passions included attending concerts and having luck at the casinos, staying connected to the latest breaking news, and most of all, immersing herself in her treasured 70s music. A talented and caring soul, Shaleen enjoyed creating ceramic piggy banks for every new life entering her world, symbolizing her love and hope for the future. Her kindness and warmth touched everyone she met.

Our family extends our heartfelt gratitude to her dedicated caretaker of 18 years, Nelly, along with her friends and the compassionate staff at the MS Achievement Center, who provided comfort and support during her journey.
