Sharon Blackhawk

Sharon Lee (Tuchtenhagen) Blackhawk, age 87, died on the morning of Monday February 23rd, 2026, at NorBella Senior Living in Champlin.

Born in Howard Lake Minnesota on November 15, 1938. Sharon was the daughter of Ewald and Hattie (Lewison) Tuchtenhagen. She grew up in Howard Lake and Albert Lea, graduating from Albert Lea High School with the class of 1957. She was mostly a homemaker until she divorced in 1974 when she began a career working for Minneapolis Public Schools in Indian Education and Purchasing until her retirement. Sharon married Barry  Blackhawk in 1957 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She enjoyed homemaking, sewing, gardening, and sports such as golf and volleyball.

Sharon is survived by sister Mary Jane Buzay, children, Bradley (Samantha) Blackhawk, former daughter-in law Karmen Blackhawk, daughter-in-law LouAnn Blackhawk, Benjamin (Rae) Blackhawk, Polly (Alan Pokornowski) Aitken, Betsy Blackhawk. Many grandchildren & great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her former spouse Barry L Blackhawk, her son Bryan J Blackhawk, brother Harlan Tuchtenhagen, sister Elaine Westrum, Son-in-law Larry Aitken.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday March 4th. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at Gearty-Delmore funeral chapel 15800 37th Ave N Plymouth MN 55446. Interment will follow at Graceland  Cemetery in Albert Lea MN.
